It's time to play with Mojo Monday
Hi All,
I love Mojo Monday sketches and often use them to create my cards when I need some ideas.  Here is a card I created using this week's sketch MOJO250.  I did the ink and tap technique on my flower to get it 2 toned.  My lucky Card Club members will learn this technique this Wednesday.
If you would like to learn this technique please contact me.  We could book a party for you and your friends to make a project using the ink and tap technique or any other technique that you would like to learn.  All that is needed for a fun stamping party is you and 4 or 5 friends, I'll do the rest  : )

I used lots of fun Stampin'up! goodies on this card.  Here's the supply list.

Weekend catch up time.

Hi all,  I have been super busy this weekend catching up on some work.  I finished all my July Scrapbook Club take home kits (pictured in  my last post) and also all done making my June Scrapbook Club take home kits (pictured below).  I really love this layout and the punch art was super fun to make.  I cased the ice cream cone idea from Diana Gibbs, her website is called Stamping with Di.  The other punch art I came up with myself from the images in the Designer Series Paper.  If you have any questions about this layout please let me know  : )

Besides kits I did manage to finish all the tags for the Christmas in July Stamp a Stack as well so I got lots done.  Now I'm off to cut kits for Wednesday's Card Class.  We will be using the new Layered Labels stamp set (p.103) and the matching Apothecary Accents Framelits (p.191).  Crafting made easy with this matching set.  I will post pictures after Wednesdays class so check back for that later on this week.

See you back here soon,

July Scrapbook Layout with photo this time  : )

Hi All,  Remember I talked about this month's scrapbook layout?  Well here's the photo like I promised  : )  The last group came yesterday so I took the photo to send to the ladies who couldn't make it and need a kit (when you can't come to class I prepare a take out kit for you to do at home).

Let me know what you think about the layout?  Also if you have ideas for future layouts email me, I would love some input of what kind of layouts you need and would like to see.

The base is Tempting Turquoise and the other colors used are Chocolate Chip, Old Olive, and So Saffron.  We stamped our images using Stazon Ink and a new set called The Great Outdoors .  We then colored our images with a Blender Pen and our Classic Ink Pads.  Also used the new Typeset Alphabet Bigz Die to cut out the title from chipboard.  That's the beauty with the Bigz dies you can cut thicker materials like chipboard to make your titles pop right off of the page.  I then just re-cut the title out of card stock and glued it to the chipboard.  It's an extra step but I really like the look.

Here are a few of the supplies we used.  If you would like more information on any Stampin'up! product you see on this layout or elsewhere contact me, collette.gallant@gmail.com

The Great Outdoors (w-126560 $36.95 or c-126562 $26.95)
Stazon Ink (# 101406 $10.50)
Blender Pens (#102845  3pk $12.95)
Typeset Alphabet Bigz Die (#127553)

What we did this weekend...

Hi All, What a beautiful weekend we had. The weather was mostly nice even if we did get some rain. We didn't have too much planned so took it a little bit easy which is always good. Did some shopping, had a quick but nice visit with a friend, Sunday drive with the gang, even had some time to make a few cards. Pretty good don't you think ?

This week is Scrapbook Club on Wednesday and I can't wait to see the girls. I always look forward to seeing each group : ) This month's layout is a camping or outdoor theme. It's a nice bright fun layout, not at all what I was originally going to go with but turned out really cute. Sometimes plans change and that's okay, as long as I'm happy with the end result I know that the girls will like it too. I do let everyone put their own touches on their layouts if they so choose, to make it more their own. If they need anything all they have to do is ask. I'm very easy going and like to share my goodies : ) Once the girls come on Wednesday I will post a photo of the layout, I don't want to spoil their surprise. The title on the layout is "Fresh Air" : )

I need to head to bed, back to work tomorrow. It does look like a beautiful week is ahead so enjoy my friends,

Hi All,

Well my daughter Julie and I got the Reason to Smile stamp set out (you know, the July $5 set) and each made a card.  We didn't have much time so they are simple and cute cards.  Have a look and let me know what you think.

First here's Julie's card.

Her art piece is Whisper White, stamped with Raspberry Ripple, Baja Breeze, and Island Indigo with a Gumball Green mat and her card base is Raspberry Ripple.  Cute!

And now here's mine.

This is a 2 step stamp set so I stamped the light colors first with Pretty in Pink and Certainly Celery and then the dark colors are Raspberry Ripple and Gumball Green.  I embossed the Green with the new Fancy Fan Folder, love it!  I also added an embossed frame around my art piece with my Simply Scored Scoring Tool.  I think it gives it a cute touch, see close up photo below.

I hope you like today's cards and if you have any questions about them please email me and I will be more than happy to help.  collette.gallant@gmail.com

One Sheet Wonder's are Super Fun!!!

This photo is of a One Sheet Wonder Class I had last week.  An easy and fun way to make lots of cards fast.  I used Whisper White for the base of my cards and stamped with the Creative Elements stamp set in Elegant Eggplant, Melon Mambo, and Old Olive.  My Dynamite Demonstrators (name of my team members) also did this class a couple of weeks ago and used different colors from the Bright's collection to make theirs.  Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie, and Tempting Turquoise was also a very nice combination.  They had lots of fun trading pieces and everyone's cards ended up very different from the samples.  It lets everyone be a bit more creative and unique with their cards.  Try making some One Sheet Wonder cards today.
