Hi All,
Just wanted to post the photo of the super cute October Scrapbook Club Layout Lots of room to put photos of those ghosts and goblins on this one.  You can choose which title you want if you are not like me and you don't have a crew lol.

I used the Googly Ghouls Stamp Set, some Googlies, the Howlstooth & Scaringbone Designer Paper and the Newsprint Designer Paper.  The lighting wasn't the best so the torn strip of card stock at the bottom looks purple but it's actually Basic Gray.

The colors are:  Basic Black, Basic Gray, Lucky Limeade, Tangerine Tango, and Very Vanilla.

I have some open seats for Wednesday October 3rd and Wednesday October 10th at 7:30 both evenings so email me if you would like to come.  It's $40 for a 3 month membership or $15 per class.  Please give me a heads up if you want to come so I can have your materials cut and ready for you.  All you need to bring is your adhesive of choice and if you have a favorite pair of snips you may want to bring them, just make sure your name is on them.

If you have any questions about the layout or Scrapbook Classes contact me and I'll be happy to help.

Have a super day, it's so nice out, makes me happy.

Hi Stamping friends,

I'm working on kits this weekend and thought I'd share the photos of the layouts so you could all see how nice they are ; )  The Flavors of Fall layout is by far my favorite that I've made in a while.  Not to say that the others weren't nice or anything it's just that the colors in the Fall one are wonderful together and just make me feel happy.  I'm all done making the kits for the fall layout and I'm almost done the summer layout kits :)

Tonight I'm going to finish making the October Scrapbook Club layout.  I'm almost done just need to glue it all together and pop up my googly ghouls and I'll be all set.  I love those little guys and the googly eyes are so cute.  Next month we will be making a Christmas layout, my favorite is making Christmas crafts so I'm super happy about that.

If you would like to join Scrapbook Club please email me at collette.gallant@gmail.com.  I still have a few seats so act fast before they are gone.

I can also do private scrapbook classes so if you see something you like or have a special request please let me know and we can set it all up.

Gotta go, the gang is waiting for me at the door lol.  Have a great day and see you back here soon,
Collette  :)

First night of Stampers 8 was FABULOUS!!!

Hello Stamping Friends,

It was the first night of Stampers 8 last night and what a fabulous evening it was.  We are fully booked with 8 members so I was just over the moon happy with the turn out.  We made 2 cards using the Triple Stamped Technique and stamped a petite purse that would be so perfect for a wedding favor.  Our featured stamp set was the Everything Eleanor stamp set, love this set, you can do so much with it.

Each member received a personalized note book, 5 scored and cut cards, and 5 - 12" sample pieces of ribbon, 1 of each of the 5 In Colors, as a little Thank You from me  : )

Peggy had brought us some yummy Epicure BLT dip and it was gone super fast, soooo good.  I ordered some from her so I'll be sure to make it at my next event, double batch ; )

We had a great time together and I can't wait for next month.

Also wanted to let you all know that I'll be placing the Stampers 8 order on Wednesday so if anyone needs some Stampin'up Supplies let me know before 10 pm and I'll just add it to the Stampers 8 order.

See you all soon,
Collette  : )

Hi All,
A new group of Stampers 8 starts tonight and I'm so happy to get this going again.  I do still have a few seats open so hurry before some one else snaps em up  : )

I have a little gift for all the participants so I can't wait to see them and give them their little suprise packages.  I'll give you a hint, it has to do with the 2012-2014 IN COLORS.  Plus a little personalized something for each participant too.  Because tonight is our first night we will also have some yummy treats to snack on after all our stamping is done.

This is what we are going to learn, the Triple Stamp Technique and we are using the 2012-2014 IN COLORS to make our cards.  I love this technique and you are sure to get some oooohhhh's and aaaahhhh's when you show off your hand stamped cards.  I made mine with the Raspberry Ripple and my Mom made one in Midnight Muse and it's pretty no matter which color you use.

I was missing a little something on my card so I stamped and cut out a little butterfly and popped him up, just the finishing touch I needed.

Don't forget, I still have some open seats so email me, collette.gallant@gmail.com, if you want to come over for a GIRLS NIGHT OUT for some fun stamping with great girls.

See you soon,
Collette  : )

It's time to play with Mojo Monday
Hi All,
I love Mojo Monday sketches and often use them to create my cards when I need some ideas.  Here is a card I created using this week's sketch MOJO250.  I did the ink and tap technique on my flower to get it 2 toned.  My lucky Card Club members will learn this technique this Wednesday.
If you would like to learn this technique please contact me.  We could book a party for you and your friends to make a project using the ink and tap technique or any other technique that you would like to learn.  All that is needed for a fun stamping party is you and 4 or 5 friends, I'll do the rest  : )

Weekend catch up time.

Hi all,  I have been super busy this weekend catching up on some work.  I finished all my July Scrapbook Club take home kits (pictured in  my last post) and also all done making my June Scrapbook Club take home kits (pictured below).  I really love this layout and the punch art was super fun to make.  I cased the ice cream cone idea from Diana Gibbs, her website is called Stamping with Di.  The other punch art I came up with myself from the images in the Designer Series Paper.  If you have any questions about this layout please let me know  : )

Besides kits I did manage to finish all the tags for the Christmas in July Stamp a Stack as well so I got lots done.  Now I'm off to cut kits for Wednesday's Card Class.  We will be using the new Layered Labels stamp set (p.103) and the matching Apothecary Accents Framelits (p.191).  Crafting made easy with this matching set.  I will post pictures after Wednesdays class so check back for that later on this week.

See you back here soon,

July Scrapbook Layout with photo this time  : )

Hi All,  Remember I talked about this month's scrapbook layout?  Well here's the photo like I promised  : )  The last group came yesterday so I took the photo to send to the ladies who couldn't make it and need a kit (when you can't come to class I prepare a take out kit for you to do at home).

Let me know what you think about the layout?  Also if you have ideas for future layouts email me, I would love some input of what kind of layouts you need and would like to see.

The base is Tempting Turquoise and the other colors used are Chocolate Chip, Old Olive, and So Saffron.  We stamped our images using Stazon Ink and a new set called The Great Outdoors .  We then colored our images with a Blender Pen and our Classic Ink Pads.  Also used the new Typeset Alphabet Bigz Die to cut out the title from chipboard.  That's the beauty with the Bigz dies you can cut thicker materials like chipboard to make your titles pop right off of the page.  I then just re-cut the title out of card stock and glued it to the chipboard.  It's an extra step but I really like the look.

Here are a few of the supplies we used.  If you would like more information on any Stampin'up! product you see on this layout or elsewhere contact me, collette.gallant@gmail.com

The Great Outdoors (w-126560 $36.95 or c-126562 $26.95)
Stazon Ink (# 101406 $10.50)
Blender Pens (#102845  3pk $12.95)
Typeset Alphabet Bigz Die (#127553)

See you back here soon,

What we did this weekend...

Hi All, What a beautiful weekend we had. The weather was mostly nice even if we did get some rain. We didn't have too much planned so took it a little bit easy which is always good. Did some shopping, had a quick but nice visit with a friend, Sunday drive with the gang, even had some time to make a few cards. Pretty good don't you think ?

This week is Scrapbook Club on Wednesday and I can't wait to see the girls. I always look forward to seeing each group : ) This month's layout is a camping or outdoor theme. It's a nice bright fun layout, not at all what I was originally going to go with but turned out really cute. Sometimes plans change and that's okay, as long as I'm happy with the end result I know that the girls will like it too. I do let everyone put their own touches on their layouts if they so choose, to make it more their own. If they need anything all they have to do is ask. I'm very easy going and like to share my goodies : ) Once the girls come on Wednesday I will post a photo of the layout, I don't want to spoil their surprise. The title on the layout is "Fresh Air" : )

I need to head to bed, back to work tomorrow. It does look like a beautiful week is ahead so enjoy my friends,

Collette : )

Thursday, 5 July 2012

Hi All,

Well my daughter Julie and I got the Reason to Smile stamp set out (you know, the July $5 set) and each made a card.  We didn't have much time so they are simple and cute cards.  Have a look and let me know what you think.

First here's Julie's card.

Her art piece is Whisper White, stamped with Raspberry Ripple, Baja Breeze, and Island Indigo with a Gumball Green mat and her card base is Raspberry Ripple.  Cute!

And now here's mine.

This is a 2 step stamp set so I stamped the light colors first with Pretty in Pink and Certainly Celery and then the dark colors are Raspberry Ripple and Gumball Green.  I embossed the Green with the new Fancy Fan Folder, love it!  I also added an embossed frame around my art piece with my Simply Scored Scoring Tool.  I think it gives it a cute touch, see close up photo below.

I hope you like today's cards and if you have any questions about them please email me and I will be more than happy to help.  collette.gallant@gmail.com

See you back here soon,

One Sheet Wonder's are Super Fun!!!

This photo is of a One Sheet Wonder Class I had last week.  An easy and fun way to make lots of cards fast.  I used Whisper White for the base of my cards and stamped with the Creative Elements stamp set in Elegant Eggplant, Melon Mambo, and Old Olive.  My Dynamite Demonstrators (name of my team members) also did this class a couple of weeks ago and used different colors from the Bright's collection to make theirs.  Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie, and Tempting Turquoise was also a very nice combination.  They had lots of fun trading pieces and everyone's cards ended up very different from the samples.  It lets everyone be a bit more creative and unique with their cards.  Try making some One Sheet Wonder cards today.
